The Vault is so much more than just a school backpack. And this season, with the help of some students, we’ve improved the Vault. It now includes dual handles, stands upright on its own, and has a slimmer profile, making your daily commute on a crowded train much less of a hassle. However, the super-comfortable FlexVent™ suspension system—comprising molded flex straps, a padded mesh panel, and a breathable lumbar panel—remains the same. The main compartment has room for a couple of books and a separate protective sleeve for a laptop or a change of clothes if you’re staying overnight at a friend’s house. The front compartment has a padded tablet sleeve and a zippered compartment with space for pens and pencils. There are also two external mesh pockets for water bottles. If you decide to commute to work by bike, you can do so safely thanks to reflectors strategically placed to ensure you’re visible from all sides, and a loop for attaching a bike light.
The FlexVent™ suspension system integrates a flexible yoke with injection-molded shoulder straps, a supremely comfortable padded back panel, and a highly breathable lumbar panel, all certified by the American Chiropractic Association.
